Acceptable Use Policy
1. Scope and electronic acceptance
This Policy forms an integral part of the Pushouse Terms of Service and applies to every Customer account and authorised user. Electronic acceptance of the Terms also accepts this Policy; no separate external or wet-ink agreement is signed.
Customer is responsible for its stores, campaigns, message content, audiences, integrations and users.
2. Permission-based messaging and anti-spam
- Messages may be sent only to lawful recipients and within the permitted channel, brand, purpose and scope.
- Purchased, unlawfully collected, scraped or unverified contact lists must not be used.
- Opt-outs, blocks, complaints and channel preferences must be honoured without undue delay.
- Marketing rules must not be bypassed by adding promotions to transactional or service messages.
- Customer must retain verifiable consent and opt-out records for the legally required period.
3. Prohibited content and activity
- Illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, threatening, hateful or violence-promoting content.
- Child sexual abuse, trafficking, illegal goods/services or unauthorised gambling content.
- Use that infringes intellectual property, privacy, personality, consumer or data-protection rights.
- Phishing, malware, malicious code, unauthorised access, security testing or resource abuse.
- Concealing sender identity, impersonation or deceptive domains and redirects.
- Unlawful sensitive-data profiling, discrimination or solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Channel and integration rules
Customer must comply with the terms, template/approval rules, rate limits and prohibited-content policies of WhatsApp/Meta, commerce platforms, payment providers and other enabled services. Pushouse does not control a provider’s rejection of messages, account restrictions or integration changes.
5. Artificial intelligence features
- AI output is a draft; Customer verifies accuracy, brand voice, pricing, campaigns, discrimination risk and legal compliance.
- Passwords, payment-card data, sensitive data and unnecessary personal data must not be entered into prompts.
- AI output must not be the sole basis for health, legal, credit, employment or similar high-impact decisions.
- Customer provides any legally required disclosure for synthetic content or automated communication.
6. Technical restrictions
- Do not bypass rate limits, subscription quotas, access controls or security measures.
- Reverse engineering is allowed only to the limited extent mandatory law expressly permits.
- Do not use automated requests, excessive traffic, scanning or resource consumption that impairs the Services.
- Do not share credentials with unauthorised persons; promptly report suspected compromise.
7. Investigation and enforcement
Pushouse may request records and explanations after a complaint, elevated opt-out/block rate, security signal, provider notice or reasonable suspicion. In an urgent risk, the affected campaign, integration or account may be temporarily restricted without advance notice.
Where practicable, Customer will have an opportunity to cure. Severe, repeated or unlawful use may result in content removal, sending suspension, account suspension or termination under the Terms.
8. Reporting
Reports of violations may be sent to [email protected] with the relevant account, domain, message sample and supporting information.
This Policy is incorporated by reference into the online Terms and becomes binding through Customer’s electronic acceptance.
